Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 502619) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in neuropsychiatry, biomedical science, computer science, mathematics, or related disciplines. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, the willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a collaborative team environment. Experience in medical research, particularly in neuroimaging, would be an advantage.
The appointee will participate in brain imaging research projects with an aim to understand the effects of psychotic disorders on the brain and to investigate the effectiveness of interventions. He/She will assist in data pre-processing and analysis, work closely with the supervisor to prepare research reports, collaborate with local and international experts to evaluate analysis methods, and perform other duties as assigned.
