• Proficient in the analysis of technical, quantitative and/or qualitative data, as appropriate to the role, including familiarity with analytic and statistical software.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing high quality research project proposals, including timelines and budgets, preferably with successful outcomes in funding schemes.
• Proven experience in managing individual research projects, including project design, implementation and evaluation.

You will also be:

• Able to showcase demonstrated commitment to the translation of research findings into practical outcomes.
• Able to engage with a wide range of individuals, including research participants, other researchers, internal or external stakeholders, and external collaborators, as appropriate to the role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate research outcomes in high quality presentations, briefings or written reports.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining high quality standards.

Your dedication and hard work will be rewarded with:

• Pride that your work will impact lives for the better
• Generous salary packaging benefits
• Corporate rates for private health insurance

As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to participate in relevant National Police, Employment History and/or Professional Membership and Qualification checks and validation of Australian Work Rights, prior to offer of employment at the Blood Service.

The Blood Service is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at time of application.
