Description:

We are seeking an individual to join our team to support Harris Corporation’s Engineering organization in executing the capital asset acquisition and management process within the ES Business Entity.  This position would also partner with other associates as the Lead Investment Recovery Analyst.

Job Duties:

  • Work with engineering leadership and capital budget management to support annual capital expenditure budgeting process, including planning and management of budgets
  • Work with engineering and project teams to develop expenditure requests, and ensure adherence to the applicable corporate and segment policies for authorizations
  • Procure requested assets for authorized expenditures
  • Ensure proper tagging of all procured assets for authorized expenditures
  • Ensure all acquired capital assets are managed in accordance with appropriate internal and Federal policies
  • Track all commitments and invoices associated with authorized expenditures
  • Collaborate with finance organization to track authorized expenditures against budgets and ensure proper closeout of completed capital procurements and projects
  • Prepare reports to provide insight to capital expenditures and budget status
  • Coordination of Investment Recovery(IR) Team at EAM
  • Managing IR sharepoint sales tracking site
  • Interfacing with third party vendor to collaborate on auction sales
  • Preparing relevant project amendments and authorizations to sell for respective BU’s
  • Coordination of Load-Outs with Buyers
  • IR metrics reporting
  • Check processing and Disposals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, or Database Management/EIT equivalent
  • 4 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • 4 years experience in a professional work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-Motivated and willing to learn
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Capability to interface with customers at all business levels
  • Good communication skills (oral, written, listening)
  • Experience in fixed asset accounting
  • Experience in database management
  • National Property Management Association(NPMA) Certification and or ability to obtain certification
