We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to organise and oversee the operations of a small number of workshops and stores. You should be ready to grow into an Area Manager - we are a fast paced startup and will continue to expand across Brisbane with you at the reigns. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting targets and managing our Front of House (FoH) staff. In this role you have the opportunity to shape how we run our growing retail and workshop footprint. You will be working hand in hand with the ANZ GM and the Fleet Manager to design and implement our processes in our shops as we grow. You will also be coordinating with our global operations team and contribute to our strategy for growing the retail and shop footprint across ANZ.
Working closely with our Community Operations Associate and Fleet Manager you will help to oversee daily operations of our Brisbane network of workshops and retail locations
With the GM, define KPIs and monitor and report on workshop and retail performance including analysing sales and revenue reports and make forecasts, develop and roll-out sales tools
Our Front of House sales team will report to you; you will help them to provide world class customer service, increase their sales capacity and enable them solve day to day problems
Our mechanic team will report to you; you will work with the Fleet Manager to ensure the bikes from your shop are maintained to the highest-level and your staff are as productive as possible
In case all does not go to plan, you, the Community Operations Associate and the Marketing Associate are the next points of call for solving customer issues
We are growing and need to prepare our retail and workshop processes for scale, you will continually improve these processes to enable business growth and improve operations
You will ensure that our team is delivering and that compliance, company policies and regulation is being adhered to. Occasionally you will complete audits including compiling action plans and reports
With the Community Operations Associate, you will plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
Our workshop and retail network is growing in Australia; you will support the ANZ GM to identify new sites and get them ready to launch
2+ years experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manager or similar managerial role
Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success
Knowledge of retail management best practices
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizing and leadership skills
Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
Knowledge of retail management software
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Team leadership and performance management
Project management – know the basics of managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical way
