Position Overview :
+ The selected candidate will join the London based team responsible for the investment risk analysis and part of the Global Risk Team.
+ The candidate will have working knowledge across both global fixed income and equity asset classes.
+ The candidate will be a strong team player with good time management and prioritization abilities.
+ The role will report to the local head of the firm’s Portfolio Analysis and Risk (PAR) group in London.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ The candidate will be involved in various aspects related to the monitoring and analysis of the strategies offered by the firm. This will include but not be limited to returns based statistics, characteristics analysis and risk factor based analysis.
+ A thorough understanding of the analytic calculations around all fixed income and derivatives instruments at the security and portfolio levels is a plus.
+ The candidate will interact with a number of teams included Portfolio Managers Marketing, Client Services and the other PAR teams across the world to provide them with regular analytics updates and respond to ad-hoc requests.
+ Help the team to prepare analytics and risk oversight reporting within the UCITS & FCA regulatory framework including but not limited to VaR and KIIDs.
+ The positions will also involve data controls to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of the analysis provided.
+ The candidate will also likely be involved in ad-hoc projects in relation with the overall expertise of the PAR group.
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 1-2 years of exposure to multi-asset class management. Some exposure to Fixed Income related analytics is required. A willingness and interest to expand his or her knowledge of the investment process, other asset classes, risk management, capital markets and all finance/economic material related to the role including a willingness to attain related accreditations (e.g. FRM).
+ The role involves dealing extensively with data and expertise in coding languages is required (SQL, VBA, Python) and data tool management (such as Tableau).
+ She or he must have strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as a highly proactive and energetic client service focus.
+ Thorough professionalism in all technical and non-technical aspects of the position is required of the investment professional selected for the position.
+ The candidate must also be able to work cooperatively with other of the firm’s support teams (operations, client service, sales and marketing), as the firm’s environment is one dedicated to collegial support aimed at serving our clients.
+ Knowledge of UCITS regulations is a plus.
