Position summary

IHS Markit is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial and self-sufficient sales professional who is seeking an opportunity to be a part of growing the APAC operation of an internationally recognised regulatory and compliance solutions and services business.

This role is focused on driving growth through building and owning client relationships and is supported by a global team of professionals focused on delivering a unique client experience.

The candidate will play a critical role in growing the Regulatory Compliance Solutions business in APAC, working closely with the local product, account management and sales teams. Through your extensive experience in the domestic market, you will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities, as well as working closely with strategic partners.

Duties & accountabilites

  • Driving and executing new business opportunities across the Regulatory Compliance Solutions suite of products and services.
  • Effectively manage existing book of renewals.
  • Work closely with the APAC account management, sales, product and legal teams.
  • Identify strategic third party partners to grow presence, new business and reputation in local market.
  • Assist in demonstrations of solutions and tools to prospects.
  • Work closely with IHS Markit technology and project teams to maintain successful long term relationships with customers.
  • Take part in the organisation of publications, thought leadership and seminars, including delivery of external presentations and RFPs.


  • 8-10+ years of sales and business development experience in technology vendor solutions, with exposure to regulatory challenges and/or OTC derivatives markets.
  • Existing network within financial institutions (especially banks), with experience selling to C suite level.
  • Ability to deliver presentations, host events and roundtables.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate and manage internal stakeholders.
  • Must be organised and able to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
