Overall Objective/Purpose



As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.





Responsibilities of Role



- Act as subject matter expert in Services(PSA)/Software/Consulting sales opportunities



- Manage and prioritize sales opportunities



- Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite's applications to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives



- Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed



- Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities



- Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the NetSuite solution on a daily basis



- Perform needs gathering and requirement analysis for new customers ensuring their needs are met in the sales process





Main Duties



Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multiuser operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication.





Qualifications & Skills Requirement



- 3-5 + years in a pre-sales role



- Services(PSA)/Software/Consulting Pre-sales experience



- Previous experience in sales of CRM and ERP applications for software organizations preferred.



- Experience with financial application packages and thorough understanding of accounting principles is an asset



- Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired:



- NetSuite, SAP, Oracle e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Epicor, Great Plains, AccPac, Best Software-MAS Series, Sales Logix, Siebel or Salesforce.com



- Solid presentation and interpersonal skills



- Proven ability to influence others in order to successfully increase deal size and accelerate the buying process



- BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience



- Ability to travel as required





Registration & Licensing Requirement (if applicable)

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
