As the Director you will lead the sales team in accelerating Equinix's growth by running existing client base and developing new accounts. Responsible for mid-to large team with large revenue and bookings within region. In the role, you'll provide leadership and robust account management to the Equinix France Sales team to drive accelerated new business orders and revenue growth - in planning, organizing, leading and controlling sales growth initiatives, client relationship building and customer satisfaction. You will actively engages with sales engineering, finance, marketing, channel teams, field sales and clients in the development of new and expanded client revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads Sales team to maintain legacy customers while expanding pipeline of new enterprise customers, leveraging tools that improve processes and tighten discipline
  • Communicates and translates sales strategy into a roadmap for the France Sales team to attain global and regional metrics
  • Attracts, recruits, trains, and retains exceptional sales talent
  • Inspires and maintains a culture that optimizes the passion of the sales team, and that creates opportunities for their development.
  • Fosters an inclusive environment in which all colleagues can say “I feel safe, I belong, and I matter”
  • Facilitates the working relationships with the direct and indirect sales channels, Regional Leadership Teams, Marketing and Sales Engineering organizations. Models and promotes collaboration for the team and helps make connections.
  • Provides focused training, coaching or mentoring to increase traction, client penetration, learning and sales
  • Provides ongoing constructive feedback to the team; helps and supports to develop further or improve specific elements.
  • Holds self and the team accountable to achieve Sales targets and deliver plans. Insists on operational excellence.
  • Coaches in applying sales discipline and best practices to penetrate new accounts and continually work to improve client satisfaction
  • Supports the development of sales proposals, configurations and pricing strategies that win against the competition
  • Partners to expand existing client base to drive broader opportunities and insure proper alignment and sales resource allocation within new and existing customers

Profile Required

  • Has solid reputation in the technology market in France based on sales achievements in relevant companies.
  • Can demonstrate achieving sales success through leading a high-performing, highly engaged team.
  • Is a credible partner to Equinix current and potential customers and partners.
  • Models the Equinix values in the way they lead and interact – specifically: authenticity, humility, grit and perseverance; collaborative and compassion approach
  • Demonstrates customer-first mindset: builds long-term customer relationships and build customer insights into action planning and decision making.
  • Business level French and English.
