An exciting Sales Director job (x1 vacancy) has just become available at one of the US based Company listed on the NYSE, and a world leader in the manufacturing of speciality fractional horse-power motors. This role reports directly to the Managing Director.

About the Sales Director Role:


In this business critical role you will be responsible for all sales and marketing strategy including budget and forecasts for Sales department. You will also take the lead providing direction to acquire and maintain professional relationship with major OEM and distribution customers.

The salary range for this role is THB150k to THB200k per month + Bonus + Provident Fund + Allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales and marketing strategy, budgets and forecasts in conjunction with relevant departments and establish corrective actions for variances in results
  • Control, direct and motivate sales force operating through Bangkok to meet company business objectives for sales, gross margin, expenses, business growth and market share levels
  • Implement and manage sales strategy, i.e. sales training, sales territory management, customer service expectations together with relevant key performance indicators and critical success factors
  • Establish programs for key account management and the development of key account plans

To succeed in the Sales Director job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with senior business development and sales teams.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 15 years' working experience in sales and business development function
  • At least 10 years' people management experience
  • Familiar with power electric motors is preferred
  • Demonstrable success in working in a large multinational corporation is essential with a strong personal desire for success and career progression
