SW Sales Engineer II (SGO800)

One Identity, part of Quest Software, is seeking a Sr. Presales Engineer You will be working with our sales teams to support our direct and indirect sales efforts. One Identity has a broad security solution portfolio spaning Identity Management & Governance, Privileged Account Management, Log Management and analytics.

This solution portfolio is further differentiated from our competitors by the broader Quest solution portfolio, most customers in Australia and New Zealand use our solutions today, it’s just a question of how many.

Your thorough understanding of the broader security market and specific knowledge of Identity, Governance, Privileged Account Management coupled with your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively articulate the value of One Identity solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the sales process and work closely with the direct and channel sales teams
• Discover and understand customer requirements and align our solutions to those requirements
• Present One Identity business functions, value and competitive differences
• Provide product demonstrations to prospective customers
• Assist in developing RFP responses
• Participate in onsite and remote Proof of Concept evaluations
• Provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements
• Territory supported is primarily Australia and New Zealand with some support of other APAC countries

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company desirable
• Alternatively 5+ years professional experience within FSI, insurance, healthcare or utilities sectors with a thorough understanding of related business processes and common Identity Governance challenges in these industry verticals
• 3+ years working with Identity Management Governance solutions
• 1+ years working with Privileged Account Management solutions also desirable
• Experience with common, HR systems (Workday, SAP) and ITSM systems such as ServiceNow are desirable
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communications skills
• A working knowledge of technical infrastructure including application servers, databases, virtualization and directories is required
• One Identity is a Microsoft centric platform therefore familiarity with Azure, Office 365, .Net, VB, LDAP, SQL is highly desirable

Location:

Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra (work from home)

Travel is anticipated to be approximately 30%
