This role will see you out in the market, opening doors and leading discussions, promoting our portfolio of services and capability. You’ll lead opportunities covering business applications, digital transformation, outsourcing, cloud transformation and consulting services.

This is a key role in our highly successful sales team and will allow you the huge advantage of having the well-respected Datacom name behind you, a diverse portfolio of services to promote, and the chance to contribute to our ongoing success and growth as a real market leader.

Key aspects of the role will involve:

  • Building new relationships with potential customers
  • Ensuring our target market has a clear view of our capability, and our value proposition
  • Expanding existing engagements with key customers
  • Defining the sales strategy and leading the execution of it for major opportunities
  • Promoting and representing Datacom across the industry and market

Who will this suit?

We’re not looking for your typical IT sales person that can talk to features and benefits. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic business advisor that can connect business and technology. Digital transformation is something you live and breathe. You’re curious, innovative, outgoing and self-motivated, with a passion for networking at senior levels.

You might have worked as a management consultant or a strategy lead, you might be an industry advisor, an entrepreneur, or a sales person that understands it’s not about the technology.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to engage with senior business customers, listen to their challenges and provide valuable insight;
  • Experience selling, or buying, Application Development, Managed Services, Digital Transformation and Professional Services;
  • Strong business knowledge, this is even more important than your technical knowledge;
  • Skills in writing/management of business cases or sales proposals.
