Job Responsibilities

General responsibilities:
  • Support superior in managing day- -day operating expenditures against operating budgets ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Implement action plans (e.g. make regular calls/visits, take orders, etc.) achieve sales targets for Plastic and Rubber
  • Track self/team progress against key performance indica rs and sales plans. Prioritize and review daily sales activities performed
  • Execute sales activities for Plastic and Rubber, including product portfolios and marketing plan introductions, order taking, marketing display set-ups and in-s re merchandising
  • Prepare quotation/tender prices, delivery and commercial terms, in accordance with company policies
  • Report on the activities and products of the competi rs via inputs the competition reports
  • Record sales data for reporting and tracking purposes. 
  • Maintain relevant cus mer data in appropriate cus mer relationship management databases
  • Execute continuous improvement activities enhance sales processes, sales plans, cus mer satisfaction, etc. 
  • Track and collect payments from cus mers
  • Maintain a cus mer complaints/issues log and follow up on cus mer issues
  • Respond cus mer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective cus mers of promotions and new/upgraded products
  • Work with internal stakeholders ensure timely delivery of products. 
  • Support internal stakeholders in relationship development with key cus mers

Leadership responsibilities:
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Field Sales and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning


Functional skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competi rs/cus mers
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned terri ries/products/services and strong selling skills
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in office productivity ols (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Diploma or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
