Responsible for managing the water and mechanical products sales in Indonesia
The Sales Manager supports distributors and fire contractors by identifying their needs, offering standard and specific solutions/ equipment, and services. This in order to retain customers and maximize opportunities and their success ratio.
Identify potential new distributors and fire contractors in market segments where gaps have been identified.
Listen, understand and convey customer requirements to solutions and business opportunities.
Understand and interpret detailed technical specifications
Support competitor product and price profiling in order to determine price positioning of our own products.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders like Business Development, Product Management, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Technical Services and Quality Management to ensure proposals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, adhering to Tyco’s product standards, quality standards and specifications.
Support the distribution network in marketing activities to promote awareness of water and mechanical products, whether in conjunction with Product Management, Business Development and Marketing teams or in targeted events separately.
Participate in analysis of key market segments; understand market structure with key end-users, EPC contractors and specifiers.
Ensure that accurate records of sales activities are maintained in Salesforce.com and achievement of key sales performance metrics.
Participates with other Regional sale colleagues in sharing marketing intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales.
Based on a close assessment of ongoing projects, plan for and provide weekly forecasts. This will include information on potential risks and opportunities, to ensure accuracy in forecasted numbers.
