About the job

The role is responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products within a defined area of responsibility (e.g. geographical, group of customer, industry or product group etc.). 

Profile we are looking for

  • degree in engineering (chemicals, mechanicals or other process industries), second study in business is a plus
  • 10+ experiences in technical sales (equipment, engineering solutions, services etc) in process industries (chemicals, petrochem, oil & gas, power etc) with track records
  • preferably to have previous exposure to culture, process and matrix reporting lines in MNCs
  • self-driven, able to work independently, able to communicate with all levels in the organization and externally at customer sites
  • excellent English and Thai language both speaking and writing
  • good presentation skills
  • willing to travel intensively across country to generate leads and grow business

Reporting to the SEA Regional Sales Director under Energy Division, the key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services;
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure the pipeline.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
  • Runs the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers
  • Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up, and to get a hit-rate
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.

This position will base in Sales Office in BangNa, Bangkok.
