ABOUT THE ROLE…
We are on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Venue Sales and Functions Manager to lead and drive budgeted sales targets for all venues across Zoos SA, including weddings, Twilight Zoos, special events and after-hours functions. You will be responsible for being the operational liaison with on-site caterers and ensuring smooth operations of on-site functions and venue facilities.
Your responsibilities will include (however not limited to) -
Flexibility is key to this role, your standard hours of work will be 32 hours and these hours will be spread across the week (including after-hours functions, weekends, public holidays). You will also be given the opportunity to work up to full time hours during our peak seasons.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a can do attitude and the ability to act autonomously, efficiently and resiliently. You will have exceptional time management and negotiating skills and a passion for creating fantastic guest/visitor experiences.
