Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Manager who will develop and drive the execution of the strategic and operational key account plan aligned to Tetra Pak and the customer's business objectives. In this position, you will be the key point of contact for a strategic customer with various locations, looking to ensure that their issues are resolved in a timely manner, and accepted by them. By ensuring that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio is deployed in full, you will drive sales of our full portfolio by meeting competitiveness requirements and delivering a strong value proposition. You will also be an individual contributor who will indirectly lead a cross functional Key Account team to build strong customer relationships and achieve sustainable growth by identifying and capturing short, medium and long-term business opportunities.
The position is based in Mendoza, Argentina.
You will travel up to 25% to the strategic customer sites
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As Sales Manager you will:

  • Agree on budgets and secure resources from Tetra Pak and assigned customer. Drive mutual, sustainable growth. Together with Strategic Account team and customer, drive the development and execution of Strategic Account plan.
  • Drive improved understanding of the customer's overall business requirements
  • Drive Customer Satisfaction and Partnership improvements according to global process.
  • Secure accurate Sales Forecasting for assigned Strategic Account.
  • Ensure that Accounts Receivable expectations are met for Strategic Account.
  • Drive execution of sales targets for packaging solutions and processing.
  • Engage all team members and the customer in joint value creation and quantification.
  • Develop competences of Strategic Account team members to secure that they match customer needs.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering, master’s degree in business is highly valuable/plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in same role, key account manager or related is desirable.
  • Nive to have experience in food and beverage industry (milk, juice, water, tomato puree or related is a plus).
  • Proficiency in English, verbal and written is a must.
  • To be successful in this challenging role you need to be a self-directed collaborator with a strong customer focus in order to growth current strategic accounts (all sizes).
  • You will be able to deal naturally with challenging stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a seamless fashion both internally and externally.
  • You will have demonstrable skills in Value Selling, Account Management and be able to show strategic agility and an ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • You have a strong proven record of successful negotiations where competition is involved.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A strong evaluation of Tetra Pak leadership elements
