Position Summary

The function of the Sales Manager is to ensure budgeted annual sales, profit and expense objectives are met for the Group’s business within designated territories by:

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring the Thailand business plan to meet agreed budget.
  • Ensuring that the Bio-Rad commitment to customer satisfaction is performed and constantly improved.
  • Leading and motivating the sales team to meet agreed targets and objectives.

Job Description


  • Establish and achieve an annual sales and profit plan.
  • Forecast, monitor and control selling and other expenses for the Group
  • Work closely with to ensure profitability of tenders/ business deals

Sales –

  • Maintain contact with Key Opinion Leaders and key customers.
  • Assist sales staff in developing high potential customers.
  • Constantly search for opportunities in the market
  • Coaching and guiding the team to implement tactical plans and ensure its successful implementation


  • Work with Marketing Manager to prepare marketing strategy and policy, and a consolidated sales & marketing plan for approval by CDG Manager.
  • With Marketing Manager, supervise and coordinate activities in such areas as market research and promotion.
  • Gather competitive prices information and correct implementation of List prices
  • Ensure an appropriate marketing information system and level of market knowledge is established.
  • Ensure the over-achievement of customer satisfaction is the goal of the Group’s activities.
  • Plan activities that help develop the Bio-Rad brand in the market

Organisational Talent –

  • Manage the recruitment, training, supervision, remuneration and separation of Group staff.
  • Coordinate technical/sales/administrative training for new and existing employees.
