Sales Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Manufacturing Expo is ASEAN's leading Machinery and Technology Event for Manufacturing and supporting industries. This role is critical to achieving the overall sales target, working with customers/partners to create solutions and leading the sales team to reach their assigned target effectively and efficiently.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, players, challenges and opportunities; utilise these to formulate sales strategies
• Establish and build relationships with new prospects and existing customers
• Achieve the sales target through your own individual sales contribution as well as managing the sales team members
• Work with Marketing and the project team to implement the marketing plans and budgets
• Prepare and present formal sales presentations to assigned prospects/customers
• Establish and build relationships with key partners/stakeholders (industry, association, trade bodies)
• Monitor the progress of sales through sales plans, KPI's and reporting to ensure the team is on track to reach target

QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's degree in related field from a recognized and established college or university with 5 - 10 years related experience
• Strong Thai & English language skills
SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
• Thai nationality
• Prior sales experience is necessary and must be professional, persistent and able to comfortably negotiate at senior levels
• Experience leading a sales team
• Good oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills with confidence to handle challenging situations
• Mature and able to gain trust from key decision makers
• Must be highly motivated, disciplined and organized
• Must be a team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Have own vehicle for traveling to customers
• Travelling overseas will be required
