On April 14, 1981, in Honolulu, Hawaii, William “Bill” Melton incorporated his new tech company. The original intention was to provide a recourse for retailers who’d been swindled by people handing out bad checks. Bill's product was a kind of verification device using phone lines—a verification phone.

But then a pivot. The credit card industry was relatively new at the time and processing was still being done with carbon paper. Position Summary: Partner Sales Manager

In this role your focus will be responsible for growing the overall revenue and Verifone share of market in Indonesia by selling Verifone solutions and services through indirect sales channels, distributors, processors etc. or directly into assigned accounts at the corporate or government agency level. The role would require you to work closely with partners to design and enable win-win deals and also with end customers to sell solutions that service their future requirements.

You are required to be a highly effective communicator at all levels, accountable for owning and driving Sales success by providing customer-oriented solutions and passionate about Payments.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Establish and nurture Partner strategy and model and identify priorities across remit.
  • Identify strategic Partners across countries or channel verticals in line with Verifone’s local and regional strategy and footprint. This may include recruiting and qualifying new potential partners and overseeing the on-boarding process.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop joint business plan to mutually agree with business objectives. Review business plans on regular basis. Identify partner support or investment required to make a partner successful.
  • Create annual go-to-market Partner plans and update quarterly.
  • Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate revenue. Develop and review sales proposals with partners. Set partner quotas, track and analyze partner results.

Partner & Sales Management:

  • To ensure assigned targets are achieved for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. Working on cross selling opportunities within the organisation and with Partners.
  • Working closely with Sales teams within the Partner to train and advise.
  • Develop, document, and enforce sales policies, standard operating procedures and best practices, and streamline sales processes.
  • Provide Product & Solutions training to partners and inform them about complimentary services offerings.
  • Addressing Customer Service issues as raised by the Partner.
  • Manage activities and maintain activity records and reports, present weekly updates and at quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Collect Partner feedback from the field, synthesize, analyze and channel to management. Perform Partner business reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Hold accountability for orders, sales according to agreed targets. Strong drive for results and KPI oriented.

Customer Orientation & Accountability:

  • Customer orientation, maintain excellent account relationships and drive customer outcomes.
