About the Role

As the Healthcare Sales Manager for Vendor Finance your role will involve identifying and targeting key strategic Healthcare industry contacts and generate new relationships with strategic vendor partners across this industry.

Working alongside the General Manager and Head of Sales, your role will be to deliver on financial and business objectives in reaching and exceeding program targets.

Specifically you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the NSW Healthshare contracts and engagements with individual Local District Health Boards.
  • Developing relationships with healthcare providers, government bodies and Vendors to offer financial solutions on Healthcare equipment acquisitions.
  • External cold-calls, referral-calls and vendor/customer-facing appointments to secure new business partners and leverage those relationships to generate sales leads for BOQ Finance.
  • Embedding within vendor partners to promote BOQ Finance and develop mutual sale pipelines.
  • Preparation of partner approval submissions and program design documentation to maximise transferability of the relationship to new stakeholders.
  • Negotiating partner and customer contract Terms & Conditions to meet their needs while maintaining adequate protections for the business.
  • Design and implement a continuous series of promotional products, programs and initiatives within your Vendor Partners to promote Finance products and drive incremental value to both the Vendor partners and BOQ Finance.
  • Conducting reviews with Vendor partners to ensure ongoing relevance of BOQ Finance and to maximise new business penetration rate.
  • Accurate forecasting of monthly and quarterly achievement to quota.
  • Achievement of new program volume and margin targets as set by management.

About you

Our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key criteria:

  • Relevant experience in Financial services & Sales preferably within a vendor environment in Healthcare or Medical Devices
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships in a sales environment
  • Experienced people manager (sales)
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets
  • Proven Operational performance demonstrated through ongoing productivity gains delivered through a process of continual improvement.
  • Experience in loans and lending to businesses
  • Understanding of a variety of asset finance products
  • Experience with tenders and finance transactions up to a minimum of $10m
  • Territory management across multiple geographies and territories
  • Experience with a wide variety of B2B sales processes
