Provide leadership, develop and drive the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy and related activities through manager(s) and SMEs within the LATAM region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a functional area (sales, marketing & strategy and field clinical specialist) through multiple levels of management within the company while developing and implementing strategic vision, plans and objectives for the organization in alignment with corporate and regional strategy. Develop a robust strategic talent development and succession plan in alignment with functional growth strategies across the LATAM THV organization.
  • Contribute to setting the global strategy, while ensuring a robust regional LATAM THV strategy (sales, marketing and field clinical specialist), and present recommendations to advise and guide executive level leadership; develop and deliver executive level communication across functions that impact multiple areas of the business
  • Build strong relationships with customers and KOLs, medical societies, and government agencies to raise awareness of our therapies
  • Oversee all LATAM THV enterprise-level projects with highest criticality including approving appropriate projects
  • Lead efforts to optimize processes by assessing needs and developing, proposing and leading implementations
  • Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. science, engineering, biology preferred), related experience in sales, marketing, strategy, and business operations required with skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Senior Director
  • Demonstrated track record in people management
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in related field (e.g. MBA) strongly preferred, Experience working in a health care industry required, pharma/medical device

Additional Skills:

  • Proven successful project management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems (e.g. SalesForce.Com, JDE)
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Fluent in English required; multiple languages preferred
  • Expert understanding of marketing, strategy and commercial operations procedures with broad based business and industry knowledge coupled with high-level knowledge of company
  • Expert understanding of related aspects of the health care industry processes and/or systems
  • Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to full P&L for a regional business unit
  • Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of LATAM THV to the business
  • Serve as core partner to executive leadership in other business units, functional groups, regions, business operations and support areas
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Serves as a principal spokesperson for the THV LATAM Region on highly significant matters
