Due to the growing demand for our services, we are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Assurance unit in the Certification Sales Department as Sales Officer. This is a quick and diverse role with a wide range of activities:
Speak to customers all day. This is an inside sales role where a large part of your day is spent talking to customers. When you’re not talking to them, you are communicating through email or creating proposals for them.
Build relationships. You will build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues to be successful in your role
React quickly. A lot of requests come in through our website, colleagues, and existing customers. You will have to respond quickly to help our customers.
Find solutions that work. You get to know your customers by questioning them thoroughly and making a good problem analysis. This deep knowledge will allow you to build a solution from our portfolio that has a real impact on their organization.
We are open to hiring candidates from different backgrounds, experience, and skills. However, there are a few non-negotiable traits that any successful candidate will possess. Here’s what we’re looking for in a perfect candidate:
Sales experience. You will receive excellent induction training over several weeks, but you need to have a previous background in sales positions.
Proven winner. You must be used to sales targets and KPIs. We are looking for people who are target driven and can demonstrate exceeding them.
Desire to learn. Do you want to learn about sales and how to be incredibly successful, whilst making a real difference to your customers? You must have a hunger to improve and the ability to learn new skills.
You are organized. This is a fast-paced role with a mix of proactive and reactive activities. The right candidate will be able to juggle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
You bring energy into the room. We are looking for lively, hungry, ambitious, energetic team players.
You are hardworking and passionate about the material. Genuine hard work is needed to achieve challenging targets, but the rewards are great. If you want to work hard, get rewarded well and support businesses all over Belgium then you will enjoy this role.
You will be bright and emotionally intelligent. A degree is not essential, but you must have the ability to learn a portfolio of complicated products and be able to describe them to clients. You must also have a high level of emotional intelligence.
Resilience. You must be able to self-motivate and push through adversities in this role.
Dutch, French and English. A good command of the Dutch, French and English language is necessary in writing and in speech.

Flexible working. We don’t have fixed working hours (you start between 7:30 and 9:30) but do have direct contact with customers. Your office is in Antwerp, but as we are adjusting to the new normal, you’ll be welcome to combine office work with home working opportunities. We offer a fulltime job (38-hours working week) and 30 days of annual leave.
