Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Success will be shown through building your credibility and trust with the VMware Commercial Sales Team, impacting the specific EUC sales strategy, and executing those sales efforts in a teamed manner. To continue success in this role, you will be: Matching the VMware EUC solution to the customer’s vision, business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. Driving all sales motions for EUC – which includes Workspace One, Horizon, Carbon Black Next Gen Security and SASE – and advancing those sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle. Accurately forecasting license bookings, specific products revenue, PSO bookings on a quarterly basis. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? A Senior End User Computing (EUC) Sales Specialist is responsible for a coordinated sales approach with a set number of customers aligned with VMware’s Commercial sales team. The Specialist uses their experience of selling complex software solutions to accounts to effectively build and lead sales campaigns to achieve End User Computing sales within the framework of established account strategies. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic senior Salesperson who is experienced within Mobile and/or Virtual Desktop technology, Security Software, or a thorough background in SASE technology. The candidate must be able to demonstrate experience managing and navigating complex matrixed environments and working effectively in a collaborative manner. This Salesperson will be responsible for carrying territory-based sales plans for the End User Computing portfolio and meeting the Quota targets and manage the sales forecasting process for the platform. What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? The role reports into the EUC Sales Manager for Commercial across ANZ who has extensive experience within the business. You will have a close-knit team across ANZ in this role who have also been in the business for several years so a great chance to learn from each other. The key area the Manager looks at in his team is their aptitude to learn and the attitude to try new things, a ‘can-do’ attitude is consistent across the team. Where is the role located?
