Chat Digital Sales Specialists utilize strong interpersonal communication, persistence, creativity, technology product knowledge and marketing skills to provide interactive and excellent product consulting and service to HPE.com customers and internal employees(HPE employees & Partners) who potentially developing solutions to customers.
Through Online Chat Program drive an intuitive, engaging, relevant and integrated online experience that drives revenues and leads while increasing customer loyalty and building stronger customer and employee relationships.
Research and analyze competitor products & solutions to come up compelling justifications & promote HPE products through online.
Probe and Identify potential customers/prospects and position suitable HPE solutions for their requirements.
Promote and encourage customers to immediately purchase HPE products directly from HPE Marketplace and for high end products forward the opportunities to the appropriate sales rep for converting them to sales.
Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope. Ensure positive customer experience which align with HPE’s brand identity and messaging framework.

The Chat Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for understanding the requirements and providing technical solutions to new & existing corporate customers who visit HPE.com Chat.
Brainstorm with Customers and HPE technical specialists to identify and develop solutions for customer’s technological requirements.
The Chat Digital Sales Specialist must be an Industry Professional with strong core technical skills to add value to the team.
Need to have expert level knowledge and support complete product and solutions of HPE (Enterprise Servers, Storage, CDI & Networking)
Responsible for actively driving and managing Pre-Sales process with corporate customers and HPE Product Technical Consultants, must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.
Primarily engaged in a presales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the process by identifying customer’s technical requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams.
Use Web Chat Tool to interact and reach out to online customers and internal audiences
To actively listen to potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and forwarded to the Lead Management Team.
Provide expert level presales support for HPE Servers, Storage, Networking, Converged Solutions, and Cloud Products and solutions
Comply with all HPE web standards, processes and tools
Maintain product information, configurations and pricing on the web, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and customer-friendly presentation
Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes and position HPE technical solutions to customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Guide customers on Marketplace to purchase HPE products online.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to other chat agents.
Actively participate various internal technology forums and other technology sources and gather information on current products and position them to customers as and when required.
Need to have basic to intermediate level knowledge on other competitor’s products and position HPE products and solutions on top of them to educate and promote HPE solutions to customers.

As a part of lead management, manage all leads generated by Chat Digital Sales Team and forward them to HPE Sales and Marketing teams in the development of a sophisticated lead generation, nurturing, and handoff process built upon Salesforce.com and to both HPE and Dealer Sales Representatives receiving a steady flow of well qualified leads.
Lead Generation Marketing Manager will have regular interaction with the HPE Business Units to get updates on products and solutions.
This role reports to HPE.com Marketing and works closely with Sales, including the Inside Sales and salesforce.com teams.
Should actively involve in Lead Generation, Lead Nurturing, Analytics and Reporting
Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, Lead Clarifications and KPI’s

Education and Experience Required
Engineering Degree with IT/CS/ Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Systems with good academic records
Should have 1 to 3 years of experience in Online Marketing and Product Promotion Domain
Knowledge and Skills
Vendor neutral Certifications: CompTIA A+ (Computer and Printers Basics), CompTIA Server+ (Server, Storage Hardware, and Software & Management Overview)
Microsoft Certifications on Client and Server Operating Systems. Strong interest in Internet technologies (routing, switching and general network infrastructure) including technologies associated with the Networking market.
Comfortable working with hosting technologies including Windows and Linux based server systems, network storage systems and data-center services
Working knowledge of current security issues and technologies concerning the industry, together with a demonstrable interest in keeping abreast with technical developments in this field.
Ability to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments such as sales, operations and product development
Ability to cope under pressure and priorities work accordingly
