Job Overview:

Manage remote and/or onsite implementation of SAP Concur solutions within pre-defined timeframe while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent complex, global, multi-phased implementations following SAP Concur’s implementation methodology
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of ALL parts of the project: quality, timeliness and customer adoption
  • Build relationship to effectively communicate. negotiate and work with internal teams and customers, including C-level executives
  • Anticipate, communicate, mitigate risks/escalations to deliver a great customer experience, measured by Customer Effort Survey
  • Manage SAP Concur/partners/customers to deliver projects within scope and timeline using SAP Concur methodology
  • Conduct customer-facing workshops and presentations for customer’s executives and project teams independently and successfully
  • Provide consultative expertise to guide customers through key decisions and alternatives to maintain project scope and timeline
  • Creatively design solutions for complex requirements
  • Effective status reporting, project budget management and timeline management
  • Write core product design documents following SAP Concur’s established methodology
  • Configure product according to business requirements gathered during the design phase, as needed
  • Maintain strong product knowledge
  • Mentor and assist managers with coaching Implementation Project Managers on the team
  • Serve as an internal role model through leadership, professionalism, active communications and consistency in delivering outstanding results.
  • Lead or represent department on cross-functional teams and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes to reduce deployment timeframe while achieving targeted implementation customer survey results
  • Provide contributions to SAP Concur’s project methodology and document library
  • Meet or exceed deployment productivity and quality metrics
  • Ability to travel up to 50 to 60%

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Training required :

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Accounting or Information Systems emphasis preferred
  • 12+ years of project management experience or related field
  • 8+ years of software consulting experience implementing financial or hosted applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, NetSuite or Workday
  • 10 or more full life-cycle financial system implementation experience
  • Implementation methodology experience/certification: PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile
  • Ability to persuade and influence to achieve desired outcome
  • Ability to pass a background check

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills : (in order of priorities) 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the following languages:
  • English
  • Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Cantonese (a plus)
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills
  • Experience in customer-facing/service roles
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to consistently deliver on commitments
  • Experience with financial applications and accounting processes
  • Experience in travel & spend management industry, a plus
  • Experience with SAP Concur or Cloud solutions highly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills – ability to dive in and find solution to any challenge
  • Proven ability to engage and interact with internal & external teams to resolve client issues
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to address and manage through ambiguous situations - assess situations, problem solve and make decisions
  • Prior technical or functional experience as a Business or Technical Analyst
  • Strong computer skills / Microsoft Office knowledge
