Position Overview:
This position is for a new Finance IT Analysis role for a S4 HANA World Wide Multi Year Project. This role will require the individual to be able to communicate clearly with the Financial business teams as well as understanding the S4 HANA Finance technology to deliver the appropriate solution that exceeds the business expectations.
Looking for a well-rounded energetic individual with strong technical, analytical, problem solving, business process design and communication skills. Consulting experience across multiple full life cycle global implementations that covered different industries and business processes is a plus.
The individual must have well developed communication skills in both group and one on one situations along with excellent team skills.
This role will require the individual to work with cross functional teams to utilize SAP Best practices to deliver Finance global solutions. Must have the ability to lead global workshops to define requirements and configure the system.
Must be a proven professional that enhances process and activity in area of expertise. Key skills and abilities include influencing, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Overall knowledge of the FICO modules and configuration experience in SAP. Knowledge of SAP Rental Process is a plus.
+ Basic knowledge of Accounting and Month End Close processing in SAP.
+ Serve as a consultant to the business to translate business requirements into processes or technical systems solutions.
+ Understanding issues, prioritization, teamwork, status management and perform root cause analysis.
+ Document requirements, processes, develop testing strategy and change control process, develop system solutions and unit tests, develop test scripts, schedule and process integration tests, schedule and conduct performance tests, participate in validation activities, and plan for integrations.
+ Knowledge of the SD functions and basic configurations. of the SAP SD module.
+ Responsible for formulating and defining scope and objectives of projects and ensuring communication of project goals and business direction to functional management.
+ Work independently with users to define business requirements; strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Experience in writing program specifications and diagrams, , documents, and conducts end user training regarding system enhancements to ensure the system is being used properly and that it is meeting business needs Responsible for delivering the assigned projects on time, within budget while meeting the strategic business and technical requirements Conducting project meetings, performing project tracking and analysis Ensuring adherence to process standards and reviewing project deliverables.
Required Background:
+ Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management Information systems, Accounting or Business Administration or related field preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 – 5 years related experience with comprehensive knowledge of integrated information systems.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with SAP
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong individual contributor who can work effectively on a team and be comfortable with change.
+ Self-starter who can work independently and has a sense of ownership.
+ The ability to balance multiple priorities concurrently.Expectation setting and communication to the business users on status will be a key to success in this position.
