JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
A full-time or part-time Social Worker is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Dearborn, MI.
This contracted position is for the current school year and requires a licensed professional to provide comprehensive social work services within the educational environment.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments to identify student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
* Develop and implement interventions and support plans for students
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to promote student well-being
* Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
* Connect families with community resources and support services
* Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
* Licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan
* Experience working with K-12 students in educational or clinical settings preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently
* Knowledge of school-based social work practices and community resources
