What we do
The Workday internal tooling team is responsible for building out a new evaluation runtime, compiler, language and IDE for our internal application development teams.
Working in a team of highly experienced software engineers and automation engineers, you will build the next generation of Workday's tool set for building enterprise applications.
How you'll help
On any given day, you will build out our suite of test automation scripts, conduct manual verification tests on key features, optimize our approach to software quality, and work with cross functional teams to better understand our users' problems.
You're excellent at
Designing and building automation suites for our various web components and frameworks
Collaborating with engineers, product managers on creative solutions to our biggest quality initiatives
Working with environments and DevOps team to ensure efficient and stable builds
Troubleshooting production issues and implementing resilient tests to prevent future issues
Solid foundation of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches
Demonstrable experience with delivering high quality software products within a full development lifecycle.
Strong web application technology experience, including Selenium
5+ years of experience in some or all of the following: Java, Scala, REST, JSON
Experience with one or more of the following applications is expected: TeamCity, Jenkins, ANT, TestNG, JMeter, LoadRunner, Cucumber, Selenium.
A deep understanding of object-oriented programming and TDD development principles
