Your Role

Paid Search represents one of the largest teams at iCrossing and Paid Search Analysts are fundamental to the success of our client teams at iCrossing.

Building upon your pre-existing knowledge and experience in the PPC industry, you will continue to develop your skills as you move towards an all-round approach to Search. You will have an abundance of passion for digital marketing, a strong attention to detail and a key interest in diving into data analysis.

Each day will be varied! You’ll be keeping up to date with Search news and sharing with the wider team, developing your learning further with client interaction and helping your seniors with day-to-day budget pacing, optimisation and management of accounts. You’ll also provide support for Quarterly Planning Meetings and be an active participant on Weekly/Monthly calls and meetings, whilst updating processes that sharpen our approach to Search.

In return, you’ll work on an impressive client list with support from some of the most experienced Paid Search leaders and digital marketers in the industry, whilst being offered continuous opportunities to train and grow.

Your Team

You’ll be working with a talented team of PPC professionals; the following people are the most senior in the team, but you’ll be part of the wider Paid Media (PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, Biddable and Affiliates) department.

  • Emma Burnham – Head of Paid Media
  • James Marshall – Senior Paid Search Director

What we’re looking for…

Key to success in the role will be an ability to put what you have already learned in Paid Search into practice whilst also being open to new ideas and experience from others. A strong desire to succeed, in terms of individual, team and client success, is also critical.

You’ll need the following entry-level requirements to be considered for this role:

  • At least 9-12 months’ experience in a Paid Search focused role
  • Strong demonstrable interest in digital marketing; either through study/qualifications or personal passion projects
  • Experience and knowledge of the Paid Search product portfolio and bid management tools
  • Working knowledge of Analytics Platforms (Google Analytics, Omniture, Doubleclick)
  • Ability to manage large Paid Media budgets
  • A knowledge of third-party tracking and software solutions
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel


Once ability and aptitude are proven, progression into a Senior Analyst role is seamless, with an increase in responsibility and ownership of client accounts. Further progression for a PPC Analyst is upwards, in the PPC and Paid Media disciplines; in fact, most of our PPC and Paid Media Directors have been promoted within the team. That’s not to say that career progression at iCrossing is strictly limited to the team in which you start! Some of our previous team members have gone on to do great things in media, creative, Data & Analytics and strategy.

Location and Benefits

iCrossing has two locations in the UK; London and Brighton. For this role, you’ll be based in our office in The Lanes, Brighton. What’s not to love about sea-side working, while also being immersed in the eclectic arts scene, attractions, shopping, festivals and nightlife here!
