Abbott Diabetes Care is recruiting a Secondary Care Manager for Belgium.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Key Account Managers (hospital team)
Increase level of knowledge an optimal usage of Flash Glucose Monitoring within Secondary Care
Contribute and participate in developing secondary care segment with key stakeholders
Analyze and understand customer insights/ needs, translating to optimal solutions
Initiate & develop concepts to improve health care, events & actively apply selling skills in approach
Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
Co-ordinate work of Key Account Managers across Belgium and Luxembourg and support their needs
Develop tactical & strategic market approach
Establish own network of KOL and other stakeholders within Secondary Care
Initiate & develop (education) projects, concepts, congresses/ symposia/events to improve health care and actively apply selling skills in approach
Primary contact for Sales Manager and Marketing department
Co-operate closely with Commercial Lead Primary Care, Sales Team, Sales Manager & Marketing department and other relevant internal stakeholders
University Degree in scientific or medical education, or equivalent in experience
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in leading a sales team
4+ years’ experience in a sales position in the healthcare industry with high Added Value Proposal/ Solutions
Experience of interacting and building relationships directly with stakeholders/ decision makers at senior level
Fluent in both verbal and written French, Dutch and English
Knowledge of the diabetes market and previous experience in medical devices products would be a plus
A proven ability to interact and influence customers at all levels to deliver a successful commercial outcome.
Strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills
