About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the team.

The Cyber Security Analyst works to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the Bank’s information systems and assets. The role provides information security process, reporting and governance support to business units for operational issues, incidents and projects that may present security risks, or improve upon existing IT security controls. It is also responsible for the planning, co-ordination and oversight of Security Awareness activities across the group.

Key Skills:

  • Support the day-to-day operation of Cyber Security in accordance with the Cyber Security Strategy
  • When directed by the Head of Cyber Security, provide governance support over BOQ Group’s service providers to facilitate the completion of ad-hoc security requests
  • Drive and deliver the management of monthly Cyber Security Operational, Reporting and Compliance activities
  • Provide process-level assistance for the identification and investigation of security incidents and breaches and maintain the Cyber Security Incident Register
  • Oversee regular reviews of User’s Access to Information and Systems and any remediation
  • Maintain records such as the IT Security Risk, Vulnerability, Exception and other registers where required.
  • Develops and maintain an understanding of Cyber Security industry issues, trends; particularly in the areas of risk management, legal and regulatory compliance in "on-prem", outsourced, and cloud-hosted IT service delivery environments.
