We are looking for a reliable Safety & Security Manager to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.
As a safety & security manager you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. You will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.
•Create and implement workplace health and safety & security plans and procedures
•Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines
•Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
•Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies
•Investigate accidents and incidents to find cause and take prevention measures for further incidents
•Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues
•Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
•OHS & Security Audit Management including Follow-up Audits closure.
•First Aid Management including inhouse medical officer’s practices at site.
•Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
•Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
•Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
•Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
•Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
•Responsible for BCP & keeping all times readiness with Top Management
•Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols
•Make sure that staff follow security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments
•Ensure the safety of staff and customers within the workplace
•Perform security process evaluations and inspections
•Prepare the organization and staff for external inspections
•Manage the budget for security operations within an organization
•Control security department spending
•Hire and train security staff
