The Senior Account Executive is the catalyst behind Genesys’ success as an organization. As a consultative sales professional, the Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects and current customers. Account Executives help solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solution(s). Account Executives own all opportunities and customers and are responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaign across the entire opportunity pipeline.
• Winning Cloud business revenue within Enterprise & Commercial Business accounts according to the business plan.
• Develop partnerships in the partner ecosystem to drive new business.
• Ability to do an initial demonstration of the Genesys Cloud capabilities.
• Position Genesys products and services and improve Customer’s impact.
• Negotiate and create product and service orders, contract addendums and renewals.
• Manage and develop existing contacts and create ambassadors.
• Weekly accurate forecast to sales management.
• Create business plans in collaboration with the extended team in order to drive net new revenue and ensure customer success.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• A proven sales hunter/farmer and closer.
• 5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience.
• Strong preference for SaaS and EaaS.
• Passionate about customer success - teaming with the extended team.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quota preferably SaaS solutions.
• Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects.
• Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain good pricing.
• Proven commercial success in working with executives, VP and ‘C’ level.
• Ability and proven experience with strategic thinking and complex processes.
