Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of tax returns efficiently
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, SMSFs, and individuals
• Assist with BAS lodgements and finalisation
• Review bookkeeping completed by other team members
• Direct client and ATO liaison
• Work on reporting and project-based tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in accounting indistry, preferably in a public accounting practice
• Bachelor of Commerce or Business (Accounting); CPA or CA preferred but not essential
• Experience working with Xero and XPM for lodging tax returns
• Strong ability to work autonomously, in a small team, and under time constraints
• Enthusiastic and proactive mindset with a ‘get stuck in’ attitude from day one
• Passion for client care and growing the firm’s reputation
• Familiarity with Office 365 and general business software
