Team Overview

The position in discussion is with the Global Clients & Markets team at KGS, which is KPMG’s global delivery center and an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability globally. KGS Global Clients & Markets is a multi-capability team delivering insights and sales enablement support to KPMG’s top tier accounts and sectors.

We are recruiting for a Senior Analyst in Global Clients and Markets team at KGS. In this role, you will be supporting the research requirements for 3-4 key KPMG accounts and one or more Global sectors (mostly Life Sciences and Consumer & Retail), working closely with the Junior Account Managers (JAMs) and Client Service Teams (CSTs) of these accounts and the Global Sector representatives. Your key KPIs will include effective delivery of a standard set of research products and ad-hoc research solutions that will help the accounts and sectors identify business opportunities and develop business. You will also be expected to continuous self-learn and develop your account and sector knowledge so that such knowledge reflects on your deliverables. For each account and sector you will be required to:

  • Create and deliver a set of high-quality standard deliverables to the CST team/Global Sector team

  • Understand the account’s/sector’s ad-hoc research need, scope out the right solution and deliver required product.

  • Have a good understanding of the various internal data sets that KPMG maintains to track business development and revenue generation from these accounts and sectors.

  • Be able to look at trends emerging from these internal data sets and compliment those trends with research from secondary sources

  • Review and improve Global Account Plans that these Accounts put together annually.

Job Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • Total Experience: The candidate must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / third-party KPO / specialized research houses, or research divisions of investment banks; with and MBA qualification from a Tier I/II college

  • Skillset:

          • Excellent business communications skills (structuring, writing, speaking and articulation)

          • Strong analytical skills; ability to read, interpret and draw messages from large sets of data

          • Ability to simultaneously manage 2-3 projects/priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
