Challenges of the role

• Taking part in building  new functionalities for our Mirror Device
• Ensuring excellent code quality and fast development, using Bluetooth, System Apps, Custom OS, Root
• Working with different parties involved in reaching the overall best solution
• Identifying and communicating concerns and obstacles regarding the development process
• Being up-to-date with the Android ecosystem, to proactively propose improvements and alternatives
• Collaborating closely with product and design teams to create innovative user interfaces and features, optimized for Android
• You have to be fast and deliver quality

​​​​ What You offer

• 4+ years experience developing Android applications (Kotlin)
• Experience in developing apps in Kiosk Mode
• Experience with alternative distribution options for Android apps
• Experience in customisation of the Android OS (custom ROMs)
• Experience in working with an IoT Android project and Bluetooth networks
• Experience in working with Spotify SDK and other entertainment vendors SDKs
• Very experienced in working with low memory devices 
• Experience in building apps that use REST APIs as well as local storage databases
• Track record of delivering work relevant exceptional results on time
• Git version control system proficiency
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Strong respect for design and user experience guidelines provided by the Design team
• Familiar with the full mobile development life cycle and have a working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
• Full English proficiency

Bonus points

• Experience in building apps for Android Wear and Android TV
• At least one or more personally developed app currently available on Google Play
• Experience with sockets, push notifications
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent, MS preferred
