(Senior) Android Engineer (m/f/d) - Operational Excellence

The Role and your Impact at TIER

• Build new functionality and maintain the current code base of existing Android applications.
• Deliver readable, robust and testable code as well as UI and Unit tests.
• Advise, prepare and develop new functionalities.

You'll fit great with these Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Android experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin.
• Familiar with Room Database, Coroutines and architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP.
• Familiar with reactive programing RxAndroid, RxJava.
• On track with newest technologies and tools.
• Writing tests for your code is part of your definition of done.
• Familiar with Material Design.
• Experience building and maintaining CI (e.g. Bitrise, Jenkins).
• Plus: You have a good design eye.
• Plus: You like to get your hands "dirty" doing some backend development. (nodeJS/Python) or you are eager to learn!

• You will be joining the Product Engineering teams enabling Operational Excellence at TIER. We empower multiple users across our global markets to monitor the state of our fleet, steer the tasks happening on the ground, and extract the insights needed in order to ensure an outstanding service for our customers and cities. We focus on maximizing service availability, operational efficiency, and fleet lifespan. You will be at the driving wheel of new projects in Ops; working with highly motivated teammates in cross-functional teams, to solve tough problems for our rangers, mechanics, and operation managers.
