We have a fantastic opportunity within our Brisbane Commercial Litigation team for a motivated Senior Associate. Working with a close knit team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of commercial litigation matters. We are open to hearing from candidates with 6-10 years PQE experience, looking for an opportunity to take on high levels of responsibility and genuinely see their career development flourish. 

Responsibilities

• Draft advices, pleadings and prepare matters for hearing
• Attend witness conferences and prepare affidavits and witness statements
• Brief senior and junior Counsel
• Prepare for and attend court
• Mentor Graduates and Summer Clerks
• Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

• At least 7 years PQE experience in a reputable commercial litigation team with experience across a broad range of commercial litigation matters.
• Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
• Exceptional client liaison skills
• Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
