Responsibilities:
+ Assisting in sourcing and screening potential real estate secondary investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Europe
+ Performing in-depth valuation analysis of real estate assets and real estate private equity portfolios
+ Conducting due diligence on a wide range of opportunities
+ Leading the preparation of underwriting models, due diligence materials and detailed investment committee memos
+ Assisting in transaction negotiation, structuring and execution
+ Monitoring investments through regular interaction with fund sponsors and partners and attendance at annual meetings of real estate private equity funds
+ Working on special projects, including assisting in capital raising, portfolio management and communications with investors
Requirements:
+ Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with a top-tier real estate private equity firm, real estate lender or real estate investment banking program
+ MBA strongly preferred
+ Demonstrated investment experience across a range of property types, geographies and strategies
+ Established network of real estate industry contacts and relationships
+ Fluency in other European language(s) in addition to English a plus
+ Excellent underwriting and valuation skills
+ Proven proficiency across a variety of key business disciplines including corporate finance, capital markets, accounting and financial modelling
+ Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills; knowledge of Argus (or similar lease-by-lease software) a plus
+ Ability to work independently and to show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving
+ Ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
+ Ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
+ Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
