An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst SAP PP with Glanbia Business Services . This is a permanent opportunity and will be based remote for now but will be located in our Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin office upon return to an office setting and will report to the Senior Specialist Business Systems Analyst .
The Senior Business Analyst, SAP PP is a key role within Glanbia’s Manufacturing & Operations Centre of Excellence. Working on global projects, creating and enabling new business practices or developing new technology platforms to support our business.
Key Elements of the Role
Providing SAP Expert knowledge in the functional area of Material and Production Planning and Execution in response to business requirements and to position potential solutions.
Participating in SAP cross functional implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives including design, configuration, testing and implementation;
Definition of SAP PP scope, based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of existing core model.
Definition of SAP PP blueprint and securing sign-off by relevant process representatives from the business.
Leading out the SAP PP build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points and definition of technical programming specifications etc.
Leading Cut-over planning and execution for the PP area and providing initial hyper care post-live support.
Hand-over of SAP PP design to application support team post project.
Coordinating system and process changes while ensuring compliance with internal change management processes.
Providing assistance to the Application Support team in the resolution of complex support calls escalated by them.
Developing an understanding of the Glanbia SAP processes, configuration and enhancement points for the Production Planning (PP) module across our various divisions.
Working with Key Business Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.
Bachelors or Master's degree in Business / Information Systems or related fields.
SAP certification is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years’ experience required in the core skills of SAP PP (BoMs, Routings, Production Orders, Printing, Confirmations, etc.). Experience with MM, QM, SD, WM modules is an advantage.
Experience in an SAP PP / Manufacturing configuration and development environment a distinct advantage.
Deployments of SAP PP/SAP manufacturing solutions in a global company.
Strong knowledge of the ERP process integration points with other modules such as FI-CO, MM, SD, QM and WM.
