With continued growth and unprecedented demand, we are now looking for experienced Senior Consultants and Managers to join CFO Advisory practice in Canberra . This is a great opportunity for ambitious and self-motivated finance professionals who are excited to work across varied government projects. This role could see you involved in:

  • Financial and regulatory reporting
  • Budget development and estimate preparation
  • Technical accounting advice on new policies, business cases and infrastructure projects
  • Interpreting international accounting standards for the public sector
  • Automation of financial processes
  • Advising CFOs on financial frameworks and governance
  • Financial data analytics
  • Functional and efficiency reviews
  • Integrated business reporting
  • Writing board papers, reports, proposals and tenders

  • Experience in Accounting, Audit or Assurance within the public sector or professional services
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree or higher qualification, preferably in Finance,
  • Accounting and/or technology. CA or CPA (full completion or in progress) will be highly regarded
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills with a curiosity to explore and solve complex issues
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to share your ideas with impact to facilitate change
  • Experience in building stakeholders relationships both internally within teams as well as with clients
  • Experience with Public sector clients and government financial systems is highly desirable

*Australian security clearance, or ability to obtain one is essential for this role – please note, Australian citizenship is required to obtain this clearance
