Summary of role:
Cirium is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join its expanding Global Data Science team, taking a leading role in planning and delivering high-value analytics projects aligned to our Aerospace and Finance sector.
They will use their advanced data skills to generate new commercial offerings, as well as performing internal and external business analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of the Cirium data landscape. This will include client-facing elements to both demonstrate our data qualities and gathering requirements for analytics deliveries.
The role will involve blending data across our suite of data assets, exploration, experimentation, prototype design, visualisation and process evaluation to provide key operational insights and market intelligence to the business and to our customers.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across the Cirium business departments, including Data Ops, Markets, Data Solutions, and Sales, engaging with stakeholders on a broad range of complex initiatives and using their skills to delight clients.
In addition, they will use their knowledge of advanced statistics, data analysis tools, and processes to build solutions and to share knowledge across the wider research group.
Being able to work on dedicated streams of work as well as collaborate on wider group initiatives will be key. This will include being a skilled communicator within and outside of the business as you work in cross-functional teams.
The role will be based in our London Heathrow office, with international travel opportunities, reporting to the Lead Data Scientist.
• Working with stakeholders to identify and prioritise experiments and potential new client offerings, gathering requirements, and planning projects in collaboration with the lead data scientist and the wider data science team
