We are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated a SAP Fiori Associate Architect to further extend our innovative process automation team.

The Role

As SAP Fiori Associate Architect you will be responsible for desirability and feasibility of our SAP Fiori based user interfaces. You will collaborate with stakeholders / users and experts from other components (e.g. BPM, ABAP, Java) to conceptualize the next increment of our process automation solution. The user interfaces you will conceptualize, and prototype are both desirable from the user perspective and feasible from Fiori style guide and technical implementation perspectives. You will collaborate with the UI development team to ensure effective implementation of your user interface concepts. You are able to guide more junior team members and contribute to a good knowledge build-up and sharing within the team. You will collaborate with external consultants and colleagues across the globe.

Role Requirements

  • Degree of a university or a university of applied sciences. Preferred field(s) of study:  Computer Science
  • Excellent knowledge of the Fiori design guidelines and track record of successfully applying them to new user interfaces. Ability to combine desirability with technical feasibility
  • Excellent proven programming skills in JavaScript
  • A good knowledge and experience across various design approaches, methodologies and prototyping
  • Ability to analyze the content domain, build scenarios, use cases and craft design specifications for the product. History of close and productive collaboration with software engineers and engineering leads
  • Excellent communication skills articulating design and technical decisions, and keeping the team informed of progress and timings. English is required, German is a plus
  • Flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to efficiently master complex processes. Very organized with high attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and to work on multiple tasks

Preferably you bring along knowledge/skills in one or more of the following areas:

  • Programming skills in Java incl. Java EE experience, knowledge of BPMN
  • Experience in ABAP, SAP HANA and /or for Cloud products such as SAP Cloud Platform would be an advantage
  • Experience with distributed version control (e.g. Git or GitHub), build/deployment automation (e.g. Jenkins) and containerized applications/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with microservices, agile development, continuous delivery, DevOps and quality engineering. Good understanding of automated software testing concepts and methods
  • Experience in working across locations and organizational boundaries
