SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION

With the market convergence of RPA, workflow management, process analytics and collaboration solutions, business process automation is entering a new era: The age of Hyperautomation. For SAP, it’s one of the most strategic areas of investment. In this role, you will be part of the team driving the product development and go-to-market of SAP’s new hyperautomation solution.
As a senior DevOps Engineer, you will be building automation and infrastructure to help our engineers to provide scalable process automation services.

• Manage cloud landscapes based on Kubernetes and SAP Cloud Platform
• Automate and optimize CI/CD process
• Contribute to our Site Reliability Engineering processes
• Work closely with product management and development teams to enable customer success
• Implement, maintain and tune monitoring and alerting systems
• Assess new technology projects and tools, or migrate our environments to latest versions to keep up with the rapid pace of change
• Participate in mitigation measures of the findings that come from Hacking simulation, Audits and other internal assessments  
• Respond to security incidents
• Respond on-call to incidents with quick and effective resolutions

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Required skills

• Hands-on experiece working in DevOps
• Experience in designing and implementing or working with matured CI/CD pipeline 
• Deep knowledge and experience in AWS and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes etc
• Familiar with cross-functional teams working with agile methodologies
• Proficient English skills
• Ability and willingness to be on-call

Preferred skills

• Good knowledge of security best practices
• Experience in designing systems to run at large scale and multi cloud environments
• Experience with Jenkins

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in DevOps
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
