Job Description

Moodle with us!

Perhaps you’ve heard of Moodle - we make the world's most popular learning platform and we are on a mission to empower educators to improve our world.

If you are welcoming, respectful and supportive, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our MoodleCloud team. In this key position you will be responsible for MoodleCloud’s technical strategy and solution architecture, the continuous integration journey we’re on and the implementation works that deliver on the product strategy.

But first find out about your new workplace...

Moodle is an education technology company focussed on a compelling vision and supporting values, rather than profits. We have an array of open software products and services that support our mission to “empower educators to improve the world”, following our values of openness, integrity, respect, innovation and of course, education.

Moodle software is used as a key part of operations for: schools and universities such as the UK Open University, University of Barcelona, Monash University and Columbia University; as well as corporate users such Mazda, Allianz, Vodafone and Coca-Cola, and other organisations such as the United Nations, World Vision International and hundreds of thousands more.

MoodleCloud currently delivers Moodle to over 30,000 organisations, and is central to the growth strategy for the organisation over the coming years. The MoodleCloud product is nearing our fourth year of rapid adoption and is uniquely placed to grow in both diversity of offering and market reach.

Our team is mostly based in Perth, Australia and Barcelona, Spain. But we have colleagues all over the world - Spain, Belgium, England, Ireland, Canada, USA, Czechia, Netherlands, Brazil, Italy and Greece. We also work closely with our certified partners and broader community of developers, administrators and educators who all contribute to the product and our customers' success.

We are a hard working team because we believe in the ability of our platform to make a positive difference in our world. When you join us, you will hear stories about how we are doing exactly that.

Lastly, we really value our peers, in a caring, respectful, open and innovative workplace.
