Duties and Responsibilities
Summary:
To maximize sales of the product portfolio within the team To manage all issues relating to sales productivity within the team To train, coach and develop the team To train, coach and develop each PSR via their individual development plan To perform all duties in accordance with the Pfizer Values and Leader Behaviors To ensure PSR's compliance with Pfizer Business Conduct
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular Field work with PSRs - average 14 days of field work per month
(minimum of 1 field day per month per PSR)
+ Monitor sales development of PSRs and report to NSM
+ Set PSR's target in line with total team sales budget
+ Improve and develop data base of the team( EBMS )
+ Review and follow up on each PSRs' plan ( schedule of visit, itinerary,
customer cards, hospital listing, price increases and generic defending)
+ Follow up on competitors' activities, report area problems, give suggestions
and improve sales service in the area
+ Monitor area activities and budget
+ Build relationships with key members of PTC and NLED working group
+ Prepare PSRs' incentives for calculation
+ Communicate frequently with PSRs ( weekly Meeting)
+ Support marketing activities (closed symposiums, exhibitions, etc.)
+ Build image of Pfizer as Employer of Choice
Recruitment of PSRs in line with company policy and procedures
+ Recruit the best PSR for the team
+ Speed of action for recruitment to be made within 30 days
+ Coordinate new PSR induction program
Routine monitoring and reviewing of key performance parameters
(activities vs target, call coverage plan, incentive status)
+ Prepare, implement and review Business Plan
+ Manage expenditure budgets for the area in accordance with Pfizer
Business Conduct policies and guidelines (TM&E, group meetings and special requests)
Coaching and Development of PSRs
+ Utilize Situational Leadership and 8 Step Coaching in all aspects of PSR development
+ Coach PSRs in all area activities (group meetings, territory management principles, etc.) as well as time management
+ Identify development needs and challenge PSRs to acquire new skills and experiences within the selling context
+ Give guidance to PSRs for personality development
+ Cultivate good sales disciplines
+ Promote adherence to Company policy and business; serve as a role model for PSRs
+ Build good morales and motivate the team
Leverage cross team activities and coordinate with the training team, sales service group and the Marketing Dept.
Principle Working Relationships
National Sales Manager Regional Sales Manager Sales Director Product Managers Associate Director of Training and Sales Training Manager Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) Customers (Doctors, Pharmacist)
Essential Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related fields
Experience: 3 years as PSR
