Competent Level Systems Professional Role focusing on Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 support items associated with an Applications Portfolio across the Ireland Campus. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on related Systems and Architecture, this role will mentor and support less experienced colleagues in order to ensure delivery of solutions that meet business needs
Provide the following levels of support associated with the system elements of Applications i.e.
Business ownership of systems support for the applications under the team's support.
Lead the development and installation of new hardware and software.
Provide support to business users to resolve platform issues and maintain business systems.
Participate in sustaining engineering and break/fix scenarios, and when required, as a resource in Mission Critical project developments
Provide guidance on integrating, testing, evaluating and modifying systems and seeing the process through from beginning to end.
Troubleshoot Firewall, Network and platforms through log files and database queries, and general setup of Windows environment.
Integrate different applications e.g. business software and network control systems.
Champion reports/visualisations that are thorough, detailed and able to be comprehended by clients.
Collaborate with response teams on operating system related problems to provide support including on-call rotation for round the clock support coverage.
Take responsibility of database architecture and identify and initiate changes needed to support business units
Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to Initiate actions to improve processes, products or services.
Translate objectives into an action plan, with the help of a supervisor / mentor.

Third Level Qualification (minimum NFQ 8) within a Software or IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Third Level Qualification (minimum NFQ 8) - 2-3 years’ experience within a Manufacturing Environment.
High-level of proficiency in Windows Server technologies including but not limited to:
Database Training Certifications desirable
Strong Knowledge is major scripting languages like .Net, C++, SQL, SQL Plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment desirable
Understanding of Data Analytics and Analytics Tools preferred
Strong understanding of FDA and Regulatory Quality and Software Validation Requirements e.g. GAMP.
Relevant professional body qualification or accreditations (for example MCSE, CCNA, ISO/IEC 15288-2015) desirable but not essential.
