Role & Responsibilities

This role supports the Financial Controller to take responsibility for all aspects of the financial management of the Australian legal entity ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that the accounting complies with appropriate GAAP and taxation laws including:

  • Coordinate and manage solutions to optimise business processes for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Analyse organisation’s and internal operating costs and expenditure
  • Manage and develop internal control systems
  • Maintain and business partner with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting, advice, plans, operations and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Provide all relevant information to External providers in order to prepare the Financial Statements, tax calculations and tax notes
  • Conducting and providing all relevant information to External providers in order to prepare the Financial Statements, tax calculations and tax notes
  • Participating in projects to improve processes and efficiencies in the above areas.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Relevant professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CIMA, etc.)
  • Professional financial accounting and corporate tax experience of at least 4 years
  • Professional financial accounting and corporate tax experience of at least 4 years
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Desirable:

  • Multi-national company experience.
  • Pharmaceutical sector experience.
  • Appreciation of US GAAP and IFRS

Salary Range $100K - $120K
