News DNA is made up of product, production, digital marketing, integrated sales, commercial and consumer led content teams and our focus is on building consumer brands. Work on product projects across Australia's largest women's digital network, With Her in Mind Network (WHIMN).
What's the role?
+ Play a role in the iterative development process of our product
+ Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
+ Define UI frameworks and architecture for websites to follow industry best practices for development.
+ Build reusable code and libraries for future use
+ Be responsible for website maintenance and enhancements
+ Solve technical problems, identify root causes and quickly resolve issues
+ Optimize development for maximum speed and scalability
+ Find opportunities, develop processes & guidelines supporting website stability, performance & cost management
Who are you?
+ 5+ years experience in Front End web development
+ Extensive knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript (ES5 and ES2015)
+ Experience with PHP, WordPress, Twig and jQuery
+ Strong negotiation skills
+ Experience with Docker, GIT, Front End build tools (Gulp/Webpack) and CSS pre-processors (SASS)
+ You have high standards in everything that you do with great attention to detail
+ Excellent communication skills and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
