Role title :   Senior Growth Expert, Ecosystem
Reports to: Managing Director, APAC

Role location :   Guangzhou, Shanghai or Hong Kong 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the user growth of WorldFirst customers that are connecting within the WorldFirst ecosystem creating ecosystem and network effects to grow the business
  • Have good strategic mindset to drive initiatives in the ecosystem to help Worldfirst and the entire Ant International group to achieve our strategy and vision/mission
  • Identify insights and trends from complex data sources, and initiate, adjust and drive new ideas based on the data
  • Data monitoring for the progress and results of the initiatives and coordinate the resource of multiple departments to drive initiatives/MVP to increase user referral conversion to prove the validity of the MVP
  • Raise demands of product development and co-work with product development and technical team to implement the MVP into long-term scalable product solution so that we can drive the user referral in scale
  • Work with the Enterprise and the broader ANT team to identify partnership and product opportunities that can drive further ecosystem/network effects
  • Have a start up mentality where ideas will be piloted and tested at pace to assess viability rather than expect long development lifecycles

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of business experience in the import and export trade industry, understanding the needs, pain points and business processes for the importers and exporters in China and the rest of the world.
  • At least 5 years of experience in driving growth, with the Internet mindset
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Operational rigor combined with excellent business acumen, problem-solving, project management and analytical skills.
  • Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills and the ability to take complex data and distill them into a meaningful and coherent story.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of local trading networks and business associations, and well connected with relevant players
  • High proficiency in English and Mandarin, Cantonese is a plus
